Climbing is what started the whole journey. I started hobby climbing in 2019, and from there the adventure photography journey began. Climbing was always just the stepping stone to big mountain objectives, but I fell in love with the physical challenges it presented. In my final year of uni, I trained for and completed my first multi-pitch in the Blue Mountains, which became the subject of my Major Project, called Ascent. However, whilst training, I injured my a4 pulley and did the worst possible thing I could’ve; stopped climbing. I didn’t climb at all for 2 years, then slowly started getting back on the wall. I started ice climbing, sport climbing and bouldering again, and was able to use some of the skills to shoot for a mountaineering camp in Australia and with arborist brands like Husqvarna.
